Sara Hines, M.Ed.  Co-Author

Sara Hines has been working as a reading/learning specialist for the last 25 years.  She has worked in private schools such as The Lab School and Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C.  She has also taught in public schools in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in Maryland.  Ms. Hines has conducted numerous reading workshops and has trained teachers at the graduate level.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities.

Lynn Klaiman, M.Ed.  Co-Author

Lynn Klaiman has been a first grade teacher for over 12 years. She has taught at The Dalton School in New York City and at Sidwell Friends School in the Washington D.C. area.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Reading.

Shari Hookman Berger, B.F.A.  Illustrator

Shari Hookman Berger earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She has taught art and early childhood education for the past 7 years.
